Service - March 20, 2016

3/20/16 (Palm Sunday) - Philippians 2: 5-11 “Humility”

5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
    as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,
8     he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

  3. There is a funeral on Saturday so we cannot setup Thursday night. If anyone is interested in setting up on Saturday, we can after 4:00.

    1. We could practice in the fellowship hall with the youth band stuff tonight so we could still plug in but not have to tear down. Radom thought of the day.

    2. Yes we can either do that or just practice at low volume with acoustics and darren's box etc... the only thing that will need to be set up is keyboards. i am going to try and play keys on a couple songs - so we'll need 2 keyboards - no monitors or microphones needed - to save time.

  4. A new song for the offertory... chart to come.
For the end we will do I Love You Lord as an intro to We Fall Down. The set will be an acoustic feel in the some manner as what we have been doing lately. Acoustic-type dynamics but not unplugged.
