  2. Details:
    Hi Friends,

We are so glad that your and your groups are going to be participating in this year’s Picnic in the Park. Here are a few things for you to consider.

    1) Stage/Covering – there will be a 30in stage that will be about 16D x 20L

    2) Set-up

    a. The stage and covering will be set up by 10AM

    b. FCOB is providing the sound for the event and will begin setting up that at 10AM

    c. FCOB will provide drums (DW set) as well as keyboard (NORD STAGE 2) for all three groups to use.

    d. NEEDS

    i. In order to keep things moving throughout the afternoon, I am asking that we either borrow on another’s amps, or just go direct in. Please let me know your preference and if you would be willing to let others use your stuff. We do not have a professional team of “x” people to help here, so anything that we can do to help would be, well, helpful!

    e. Bands can come and begin setting up around 11-11:30

    3) Sound Check

    a. We will start 30 minute sound checks with Cornerstone at 12:30PM, then Touchdown Sunset at 1:15, and The Project at 1:30 – we need to be done by 2:15PM – please stay around the stage so that if one group gets done early, we can get the next group up.

    b. We will be using different chords for vocalists and instruments as much as possible so that we can just unplug a mic and plug it into an already tested chord for your group. This will help us keep the board straight as well – having a good mix for each group without too much issue.

    4) Set Schedule

    a. Cornerstone – 3 – 3:45

    b. Touchdown Sunset – 4 - 4:45

    c. The Project – 5 – 6

    d. PLEASE NOTE THE QUICK TURN AROUND TIME – DO NOT GO OVER YOUR ALLOTED TIME LIMIT!!!

    5) Food

    a. We will have refreshments for lunch, but no meal – plan accordingly

    b. We will have dinner for the groups – it will be a great dinner for you!

    6) Other

    a. Water will be provided as well as towels for the group

    7) Tear Down

    a. This will begin at 6:15 – promptly. Please have all of your stuff off the stage by 6:30 so that the team can clear the stage for the company to come in and tear that down.

Ok, if you have other specific questions, please let me know. Darrin Drum will be our main sound guy, with me helping and possibly Josh Grossnickle. No other people should be involved in this process. Trust us, we can handle it as long as everyone does the above with efficiency.

    Thanks again,
    Brian

  7. Checking to see again of there is anyway to add I See The Lord in place of something or as an addition. I really think it will be awesome to have it since I just don't see anybody doing it. Especially the way we do it. 😊

  10. I am working so can't make practice tonight. I'm good on the line up though. If packing things for Saturday tonight I just need my amp and stand. If not packing I will pick it up Saturday morning.
