Service - November 30, 2014

11/30/14 - Jeremiah 33:14-18 “Bethlehem’s Promise” (this is the first Sunday of Advent!)

14 “The day will come, says the Lord, when I will do for Israel and Judah all the good things I have promised them.
15 “In those days and at that time
I will raise up a righteous descendant from King David’s line.
He will do what is just and right throughout the land.
16 In that day Judah will be saved,
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
And this will be its name:
    ‘The Lord Is Our Righteousness.’
17 For this is what the Lord says: David will have a descendant sitting on the throne of Israel forever. 18 And there will always be Levitical priests to offer burnt offerings and grain offerings and sacrifices to me.”

  3. I've posted the songs for this service. I did a mix of Christmas and "regular" songs. Since we are moving into the Advent season, I tried to focus on the whole story of salvation through Jesus with the music.

  4. Also, do we want to come together to try to practice sometime this week or weekend?

    2. Or - we can just all make some time to go over anything we are unsure of on our own this week - and get together on at the usual time on Sunday morning.
